I am a California-based licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working with adults who struggle with anxiety, stress, intergenerational stress, and cross-cultural conflicts.
I integrate Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into our therapy.
As a 1.5 generation Asian American immigrant, I have gone through the period of thinking, "That's not what I've learned" or "I'm not used to discussing my emotions." I am passionate about exploring how what you have learned in the past is now either enhancing or hindering your personal growth. I value your personal values and identities while navigating the pressures of societal and cultural norms. This can be a challenging journey. However, therapy can provide a safe space for you to embark on this journey.
I provide therapy in English and Cantonese (廣東話). I am also conversational in Mandarin (普通話).
